Lest We Forget

Today, November 11th is Remembrance Day. It's a day of reflection. Remembrance Day dates back to 1919 and marks the armistice to end the First World War which came into effect at 11am on Nov 11, 1918. Unfortunately, there are still conflicts today but we also still have brave Canadian men and women fighting for the same reasons as they did so many years ago. To give us the freedom to live our lives.

So today, take a moment to stop and reflect. Think about the men and women, especially family and friends who served and are serving to make sure we continue to live the lives we live.
